Mother’s Choice Flag Day Appeal – Feb 24

On Saturday, 24th February 2018, Mother’s Choice will have their territory wide Flag Day and Mother’s Choice would love to have you join them on the streets of Hong Kong in solidarity with their vision of every child in a loving family. Funds raised will be used to support children without families and pregnant teenagers in crisis.

Mother’s Choice has been changing the life stories of vulnerable babies and young girls in our city for 30 years. They believe it takes a village to raise a child, and they thank you for being their village by making a gift (financial or time) to Mother’s Choice. Come join hands with Mother’s Choice as they give hope and change life stories!

What you can do to help:
Volunteer and help sell flags
You can be an individual, a group or a school, just follow this link, complete this form and Mother’s Choice will get back to you.
Flags can be sold anytime between 7:00am and 12:00noon

Can’t spare the time to volunteer? Out of town on the 24th? You are welcome to make a donation instead. Just follow this link. If you make a donation from now until Chinese New Year, you will receive one Lai See pack*, as a token of appreciation.
*(10 individual envelopes) for every HK$300 donation (HK$600 will receive two packs etc).

Teenage Volunteers needed for AFHK Picnic

afhk 2Adoptive Families of Hong Kong (AFHK) is a non-profit volunteer-run charitable organisation made up of people connected by the common experience of adoption. At this annual event all the members and friends gather for a day of fun at the Victoria Peak Gardens. Games and activities are organized for everyone and particularly for children.

AFHK team members all participate on the day but not enough are available to cover all the activities and look after all the kids. This is where teenagers come in. Come give them a hand and help run some games etc! It’s fun !
