Social distancing doesn’t mean we cannot do our part to protect the environment!

Currently in Hong Kong people cannot meet up in more than groups of two, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t do something to help the environment! Green Hour recently took a short trip to a local reservoir to clean up in small groups and you can do it too!

In pairs (or bigger groups depending on what the government policy is on the day) why not join Green Hour in organising a small cleanup in your local area? It doesn’t have to be on a beach or in the mountains, it could just be in your local neighbourhood or even around your block.

5 minutes, 15 minutes, an hour, as long as you are able to! This time the quantity really is more important than quality!

The more you can get cleaning up in our local areas, the bigger the impact we can make!

This event will take place throughout the fourth weekend of August (22nd/23rd).

Date: 22 or 23 August 2020

Time: 5 minutes, 15 minutes, an hour, as long as you are able to.

Place: Anywhere in Hong Kong

Sign up: Events will be happening across the whole of Hong Kong throughout the entire of the two entirety of the two days, so pick your spot, sign up you by following this link and your friends and let’s get going!

The activity is free, but you are most welcome to make a donation to Green Hour
