Run for Wild is more than just a race – at the event you will also learn about wildlife conservation. Participants of the 1km family run will be able to run in the “wild” with obstacles that mimic the environment of the six focus species. The event will also feature interactive games and educational booths.
The race is divided into three categories: 10km Challenger, 3km Fun Run and 1km Family Run. Participants can enrol as an individual, team (three to four runners) corporate (three to four runners) or family (two to four runners). Individual, team or corporate participants can participate in either the 3km or 10km challenger, while family teams are restricted to the 1km run. WWF has added a school category in the 3km race this year. Details are as follows:
Every runner will be awarded with an animal-themed runner’s pack
Souvenirs in the race pack include:
– Number bib designed with the endangered species and timing chip
– Animal pin (Redeem the pin at educational booths using the number bib on the event day)
– Luggage tag
– An animal-themed reusable umbrella bag
