hands onFounded in 2007, HandsOn Hong Kong is a registered charity dedicated to community based volunteerism. HandsOn Hong Kong‘s primary objective is to identify and meet the volunteer needs of local NGOs and organize flexible volunteer programs for busy professionals.

HandsOn Hong Kong actively recruit, train, and manage volunteers to participate in volunteer activities benefiting the local community. Each week HandsOn Hong Kong has around 15 opportunities for volunteers to assist those in need in our city. Their volunteers help deliver after school programs to underprivileged children, visit the elderly living on low incomes, assist at playgroups, in soup kitchens and much more!

If you are passionate about volunteerism and making a difference to the communities you live in;
working in a senior role, with managerial and strategic experience within your industry, and with a wide network of influential contacts in Hong Kong;
have a long term commitment to Hong Kong; and
preferably a Cantonese speaking member of the local community, HandsOn Hong Kong would love to hear from you.

The HandsOn Hong Kong Board’s primary function is to serve as the supervisory body for the organization, guiding its strategic direction and ensuring that the interests of the organization and its stakeholders are protected.

The commitment is approximately 10 hours a month, outside of normal working hours. As well as helping those in need in our city, this is a great opportunity for a community minded individual to gain board experience and help accelerate their career path towards joining a corporate board.
