To realize and promote child rights in Hong Kong, UNICEF Hong Kong launched the first ever ‘Unite for Children. Unite for Hong Kong.’ Child Rights Advocacy Project last year. After almost a year, significant progress has been made in promoting child rights in the city.

To help more children in Hong Kong in the coming year, on 20 November, the Universal Children’s Day, UNICEF Hong Kong announced the Child Rights Advocacy Project 2012, to continue joining hands with NGOs for the well being of children. UNICEF Hong Kong is now inviting applications from all local NGOs. Three child rights related projects will be selected and each will receive HK$500,000. The result will be announced in mid-March next year.
